RueBaRue Implementation Checklist

Here are the steps to set up your account.

PMS Integration

  1. Contact us at support@ruebarue.com to enable PMS integration. The integration will automatically create all your property and destination guides, and import guest reservations.

Branding & Timezones

  1. Brand your Guestbook with your logo and company color schemes.
  2. Add your company timezone.

Property Guides

  1. Set up the Master Home Guide (template to update all home guides).
  2. Update  Home Guides rental-specific information.
  3. Add Tags and attach them to property guides.

Destination Guides

  1. Add, remove, and organize your Area Guide Tabs/Menu. E.g. Beaches, Parks, Ski Resorts, Rentals.
  2. Update Destination Guides for each area or community.

Scheduler

  1. Update the templated Scheduled Messages.
  2. Add tags to scheduled messages.

Team & Messaging

  1. Set up your Team page and hours.
  2. Set up an out-of-office message.
  3. Set up call forwarding.
  4. Create Saved Responses to guests' frequently asked questions instantly.
  5. Install RueBaRue Guest Messaging App for property managers to make it easy to stay in touch with guests.
  6. Enable desktop notification.

      5-Star Review

      1. Create a 5-Star Review message by going to the Scheduler and using the macro [FiveStarLink].
      2. Add the links where you would like the review to be left by clicking on Settings> Five Star Review.

      Surveys

      1. Create a Survey to filter for 5-Star Reviews.
      2. Go to the Scheduler to create a message to send out the survey and add the macro for the survey you just created.

      Before You Go Live

      1. Add yourself as a Guest and test sending messages to yourself.
      2. Turn on Scheduled Messages.
